For several years he wore two hats as a dedicated public official and world-class trail runner
Tsuyoshi is one of the most famous trail runners in Japan, having won the Mount Fuji Climbing Marathon multiple times. Amazingly, he accomplished this despite working full-time for the Japanese government. In early 2009, Tsuyoshi quit his government job and decided to pursue his dream of becoming a professional trail runner, freeing him up to attend races around the world.
