Its nylon stretch fabric gives athletes an accurate fit and ample freedom of motion as they pick their way up, down or across the hills, while an integrated elastic belt holds the trousers securely in place. A crotch gusset and pre-shaped knees enhance the freedom of motion, while a water-resistant finish fends off the odd splash. Pockets to front and back provide room for hands and belongings, and leg hems are expandable for a neat fit over boots. As well as providing hikers with great service, The North Face Men’s Inferno Pant meets bluesign® environmental and social standards.

Designed for comfort and protection, this synthetic microfiber fabric offers an ultraviolet protection, blocking out harmful UV rays while promoting wicking and breathability for comfort in hot climates.
UV radiation is an invisible part of sunlight associated with suntans, sunburns, premature aging, and skin cancer. The sun-protection properties of a woven or knit fabric are dependent upon the transmission, absorption, and reflection of UV radiation. The fiber type, dye, construction, and finished determine these characteristics. Our UPF-rated garments offer very good UV protection from prolonged exposure to the sun.
